Terms & Policies

 

Policies are simply Codes of Conduct, and they represent a two-way street. They assure that professionalism and mutual respect are upheld by supporting consistent and clear responses to routine situations. They also help to clarify expectations which saves precious time and energy for everyone. This protects the sanctity of the client/therapist relationship and keeps us in good rapport, so that we can focus on getting positive results in our work together! 


RESERVATION POLICIES - NEW CLIENT FORMS:

Because our time in session together is of utmost importance, all new hypnotherapy clients must complete the online Intake Forms prior to our work together. These forms need to be submitted 2 business days in advance of our initial session. If they are not received at least 2 business days in advance and you haven’t contacted our office, then you will lose that time slot. All hypnotherapy clients must read and sign the Hypnotherapy Contract, which is included in the Intake Forms.

SESSION DURATION:

Most sessions are 60 minutes. Together we will determine what best meets your unique needs. There is an additional charge for extra time spent outside of your original time slot.

SHORT-NOTICE-FEE & TARDINESS:

Life can certainly bring the unexpected and we understand that sometimes we must cancel or reschedule an appointment. If you do need to cancel or reschedule an appointment with Align Within, we need at least 24 hours notice. Your session time is reserved for you only - Lisa does not over book in case of cancellations and rescheduled appointments. Quite often Lisa has put time into your session before your session. If you are unable to provide at least 24 hours notice when you cancel or reschedule, you will be charged the full session fee unless we are able to fill that time slot with another client. If you purchased a package, the session time will be deducted from your total package time.

Please be on time for our scheduled sessions. If you're running late for an appointment, do what you can to let Lisa know. Send Lisa an email or text message. If she doesn’t hear from you, she will wait for 15 minutes past your appointed time. If after 15 minutes she hasn't heard from you, the appointment will be considered cancelled and the Short-Notice-Fee applies. If you are late, your session will go for the time you have remaining, and Lisa will not go past your allotted time into another person's time.

HONORING & RESPECTING EACH OTHERS TIME:

You are valuable. Lisa is valuable. The next person is valuable. And everyone’s time is precious. In general Lisa will not go over your allotted time into another person’s time slot. We do recognize that there are extenuating circumstances that require extra time off the cuff… If we do need to go over your designated time in a session, there’s an additional charge of $35 for every 15 minutes outside of your original time slot. If you purchased a package, then you have the option of reducing time from a future session instead of paying extra because packages are based on total number of minutes.

TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES:

During your sessions cell phones must either be turned off, put on airplane mode or a Do Not Disturb mode so that we are not disturbed.

Audio/video recording of sessions is not permitted without Lisa’s written permission. Sometimes people do like to audio record the meditative part of the session so they can listen over and over again - this can easily be arranged if you request it.

If you have a video session and have a technical issue that interrupts your session, and if it's because of an issue on Lisa’s line, Align Within will not charge you for the lost time and will fulfill that time with you at another time. If your call is stopped or shortened because of a disruption on your line, such as as a dead phone, or computer battery, or an internet connectivity problem, dogs barking or a repairman pounding on your roof, etc, you'll be expected to honor the financial agreement of your scheduled session time.

PAYMENT:

Payment is due upon booking at align-within.com/calendar. Online payments are preferable so that we can focus on our work together during our session. If part of our time together is spent taking care of administrative tasks such as booking appointments, processing payments, etc, then that uses up your precious session time.

No refunds are provided on products.

Refunds on services not rendered will be made up to 30 days from the purchase date. No refunds will be issued after 30 days. Refunds will be made less a $30 processing fee.

PACKAGES:

Packages include bonuses to help you anchor positive change: access to the private Client Portal containing a plethora of downloadable reading material, and a complimentary relaxing meditative self-hypnosis audio.

Packages include a set payment plan. All sessions must be used within one year of initial purchase date. Within that year you may use remaining sessions for other services or products on the align-within.com site. Unused package sessions are non-refundable after one year, and are non-transferable.

Because sessions vary in length, packages are tracked by time rather than by number of sessions. Each package has a total number of minutes associated with it, and within that the duration of each session is flexible. For example, a package with a total of 360 minutes can be used as six x 60 minute sessions or it could be used as any combination of 60 and 30 minute sessions. All are a total of 360 minutes.

If you receive a complimentary audio as a scheduled new client who has purchased a Package, and then subsequently cancel your first session, then you are no longer a paying client and will be charged full price for the audio.

INSURANCE:

Insurance Coverage: Please note that Lisa does not file with health insurance companies for medical support clinical hypnotherapy. However, it may be covered by your health insurance policy. When requested Lisa will email you a receipt so you may submit a claim directly with your insurance company.

MEDICAL CONCERNS:

If you are seeking medical support clinical hypnotherapy, you must see a physician. Lisa’s work is intended to complement working with your medical doctor or dentist - not replace it.

REMOTE vs. IN-PERSON SESSIONS:

All sessions are currently offered worldwide via HIPAA compliant video system. No in-person sessions are offered at this time. Video sessions are just as effective as in-person sessions - sans the commute! Please see our online calendar to book your remote session.

RIGHTS:

Lisa Sandine reserves the right to cancel and/or reschedule an appointment, session, reading, class, workshop, or service. She also reserves the right to refuse potential clients or let go of existing clients who are belligerent, abusive, inebriated, non-paying, provide fraudulent payments, late, disrespectful, threatening, harassing, or otherwise not a good fit.
